2. How big should my envelope be?
The envelope should be large enough to hold your page, but should not exceed 8 1/2" x 11". The maximum page size is 8" x 10".
3. Why do I have to send a blank envelope?
Your page will be placed in the blank envelope prior to being handed off to Operation Gratitude, ensuring that it is protected and ready to be shipped off to a soldier serving overseas.
4. Who is PageOfThanks.org?
PageOfThanks.org was established to be a clearinghouse for crafters here in America to show appreciation to the men and women who have dedicated their lives to serving our country. PageOfThanks.org is not affiliated with Operation Gratitude, but has been approved to provide this service.
5. Who is Operation Gratitude?
Operation Gratitude is a non-profit, donation funded, all-volunteer organization whose goal is to lift the morale of the military serving overseas and bring smiles to their faces by sending out care packages.
6. Does Operation Gratitude only send packages to Iraq?
Operation Gratitude sends packages to members of all military branches deployed anywhere in the world. To date, packages have been sent to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Korea, Africa, Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE, Guantanamo Bay and onto ships in international waters.
7. Will the soldier know who sent it?
Not unless you want them to. If you want to be contacted by the recipient of your page/card/book, simply write your name and address on the back. The recipient can then choose to write back if they want to.
8. Does it cost money to send in pages?
No, the only cost is the postage to mail your page/card/book to PageOfThanks.org. We collect pages, cards, and books only-not money.
9. Does PageOfThanks.org have a specific political affiliation or agenda?
No. PageOfThanks.org is not affiliated with any political organization or agenda. It is a site for crafters by crafters for the sole purpose of gathering reminders of home to send abroad.
10. Is PageOfThanks.org in support of or against the War in Iraq?
PageofThanks.org is a non-political site. We frown on its use as a platform for or against the Irag war or any war or political situation. Its ONLY purpose is to show our sons and daughters serving overseas that the American public really care about them. Receiving letters and packages from complete strangers is affirming and comforting.
11. Can I donate money to PageOfThanks.org?
No. PageOfThanks.org does not accept any money. Any monetary donations should be made directly to Operation Gratitude. Please check out their website for more details.
12. What is a Pay-the-Way or Spread-the-Word Sponsor?
A Pay-the-Way Sponsor has donated money to Operation Gratitude to help pay for packing and mailing. By doing so, the Sponsor can receive a button link on our home page. If you are interested in becoming a Sponsor, please contact us before making your donation to Operation Gratitude. (

13. How do I delete a message in the Inspiration Gallery?
To delete a comment you have written, first log in. Then click on the page on which you commented. Scroll down to your comment and click the Edit button. On the Edit Page, check the box for "Delete Post?" and then click the Submit Edit button.
14. How do I delete a photo?
Login to the Inspiration Gallery (or register if you haven’t already done so).
Select ‘My Photos’ link from the top left of the inspiration gallery navigation.
Select the photo you wish to delete.
Below the photo, under ‘Admin Options’, click ‘Delete image’
Select ‘Ok’ from the delete photo confirmation prompt.
Once successful, you will be notified that the photo was deleted successfully.
15. How do I upload my photos?
Click on Inspiration Gallery at the top of the PageOfThanks.org home page. Log in, or if you haven't created a user name and password, simply register. It's absolutely free! Click on My Photos. Click on Upload Photos. Select a file from your computer. Fill in the Title and a short Description. Add key words so that your page can be searched by other PageOfThanks.org members. Click the Upload/Submit button to upload your photo.
